A man, 60, is due in Kogarah Local Court on August 19, charged with a hydroponic set-up of 330 cannabis plants inside a commercial warehouse at Mortdale.
St George police went to the Hearne Street property about 9.15am on Monday, responding to a breaking and entering report.
The front door was open and police found the set-up of cannabis plants valued at $662,000 on the street.
Police established a crime scene and inquiries led them to a house in Hawk Street, Penshurst, where they found documents linking the 60-year-old occupant to the Hearne Street warehouse.
Police took the man to Kogarah police station and charged him with enhanced indoor cultivation of a prohibited plant in a large commercial quantity.
He was given bail to appear in court.
Police said the latest bust was not connected to the one at Hurstville last week.
