THERE is no Paul Gallen again for Cronulla with his injured biceps needing more time to recover.
He will be sidelined for some more weeks and will miss Saturday's clash at 3pm against Parramatta at Remondis Stadium.
Sharks media manager Rob Willis said the NSW State of Origin forward is still recovering.
Medical clearance by the club doctor will give the green light to the Sharks' warrior.
"We're looking at round 23, when Gallen will return," Sharks media manager Rob Willis said.
And coach James Shepherd who has graduated from a member of coaching staff to head coach for the rest of this year, is preparing the team for another "giant-killing" performance.
The former school teacher at Kogarah Marist is now giving footy lessons to a new crop of students — the Sharks in the NRL.
The Sharks have toppled top teams, Brisbane, Sydney Roosters and Penrith in the last five weeks.
Cronulla chief executive Steve Noyce said Shepherd is an unassuming person who prefers to "stay under the radar" and do his job.
"James is one of those people who enjoys being involved in footy because he loves the game."
Shepherd is off contract at the end of this year.
Noyce said when head coach Shane Flanagan (suspended until September 15) returns the coaching staff appointments will be worked out.
Shepherd, 41, is well respected by the players and it seems a formality he will return to the coaching staff as one of Flanagan's assistants.
One player representing the future at the Sharks is five-eighth, Fa'amanu Brown. The 19-year-old is under contract until the end of the 2017 season.
Is Fa'amanu Brown the ideal replacement for Todd Carney?
