De La Salle College, Caringbah, won the under 15s title in the NSW Rugby League Schools Championships on Tuesday.
The De La Salle boys defeated Bass Hill Sports High 16-0 at St Mary’s Stadium.
This was on top of four pool wins and a semi-final victory, 12-6, over St Paul’s Greystanes on the same day.
De La Salle had pool victories over Kingswood High (16-6), St Joseph’s Lochinvar (16-0), Pagewood College (14-4) and St Pius Adamstown (18-0).
Player of the state knockout was Tom Caughlan, 11, and most valuable player of the final was Lachlan Smith, 13.
The De La Salle side have several boys in the Sharks academy system including Tom Caughlan, Lachlan Smith, Jaeman Salmon, Jackson Stewart and Conor McDonald, and under 14s Isaac Longmuir and Max Wiseman.
