There's many issues I would like to discuss with my Federal MP Scott Morrison but I decided to focus on just one.
In June I went to his office hoping for an appointment to discuss plans to send refugees from Nauru to Cambodia.
Apparently the Cambodia deal is about to be finalised but Mr Morrison is not talking to the Australian public and has not explained to this constituent why these unfortunate people are to be sent to a country where there are no facilities to deal with refugees and 45 per cent of people live in poverty.
Six weeks later I am still waiting for that meeting and like the rest of Australia I'm asking, 'Why Cambodia?' Please explain, Scott Morrison.
