STATE Emergency Service (SES) volunteers were kept busy clearing debris from properties in St George and Sutherland Shire in the past few days, mostly for fallen trees and water threatening to flood homes.
On Saturday, a Victorian man had to be towed to safety after getting stuck when he tried to drive over the flooded Audley Weir in the Royal National Park.
Wet and slippery roads also caused car accidents, including a multi-vehicle crash at Bexley on Tuesday when three people were taken to hospital.
Cronulla beach resembled a washing machine of rough seas in the aftermath of the wild weather.
