Many years ago I lived with my sister Anne who was a war bride.
Our house was in the suburb of Richmond Hill in Queens, New York City.
While living there the local government brought in a law that all truck deliveries were to be made at night and trucks had to be off the road the next day by 8am.
I know the government would never bring in such a law here.
But if they did look at the lives that could have been saved because of such a law, they might reconsider.
