Sutherland Hospital’s new $10 million, four-storey car park was opened officially today by Premier Mike Baird and Health Minister Jillian Skinner.
The car park at the hospital rear, next to the railway line, has 300 spaces, bringing the total campus number to 1000.
As previously reported, visitors will pay from $5 for the first hour up to a maximum of $18.50 for a day.
Concessional rates apply to eligible users including pensioners and patients requiring cancer treatment and long-term health care.
Staff pay a maximum weekly fee of $21.60 (tax deductible).
