NORTH Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club were 10th at the recent National Pool Championships and overall the first Bate Bay club.
The dedicated coaches of Beth Fulton (team manager), Peter Moyle (competition director), Kyle O'Brien, and Aaron Markey led the way with their management for the team's top results.
North Cronulla collected eight gold, five silver and seven bronze at the Sydney Olympic Aquatic Centre.
Other points came from competitors with fourth, fifth and sixth placings.
Club members Abbey Pugh and Lachlan Moyle were selected in the NSW under-18s development team to tour New Zealand, to compete for their national titles.
■Gold: Nathan Moyle, Zach Roja, Leo Nosatti and Jett Garland; in the men's under 13 4 x 50-metre obstacle relay ; and men's under-13s, 4 x 50-metre medley relay.
■Silver: Ethan Garland, in the men's under-15s under-15s 50-metre manikin carry and in the under-15s 100-metre manikin carry with fins; Leo Nosatti in the men's under-13s, 100-metre obstacle race; Zach Roja, in the men's under-12s 50-metre with fins event; Jett Garland and Leo Nosatti; in the men's under-13s 100-metre patient tow with fins.
■Bronze: Ethan Garland in the under-15s male 200 metres obstacle race, Leo Nosatti, Jett Garland, Zac Roja, Nathan Moyle, in the men's under-13s 4 x 25-metre brick relay.
■Wanda Surf Life Saving Club's best performers were Fed Smith, who won a gold medal in the open male 200-metre obstacle race and Jane Smith, who won silver in the under-15s female 100-metre manikin carry.
