A $5.7 million addition to Georges River College — Peakhurst campus is ready to be used by teachers and students.
The new additions were opened by the school on September 17 and replaced the old Bini shell building that was used as the hall for almost 40 years.
The works include a gym, a large hall for indoor sports games, a stage with an audio and lighting control room, sports equipment storage areas and change rooms for students.
There are also two multi-purpose outdoor courts, a covered walkways and landscaping.
Education Minister Adrian Piccoli said the work represented a major investment in education infrastructure in the region.
"[The campus] celebrated its 50th anniversary this year and I cannot think of a better way to mark this milestone than with the opening of an outstanding, modern facility like this one," Mr Piccoli said.
Oatley MP Mark Coure credited the school community "for its support in the planning and delivery of the project".
