Regular rail services have resumed on the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Line after a woman was hit by a train earlier today at Mortdale.
There are still some delays on the South Coast line.

Sydney Trains advises trains are now stopping at Mortdale but there are still delays. Passengers may use their train tickets to travel on buses between Sutherland and Bondi Junction until 3pm.
Buses may supplement some South Coast Line services between Kiama and Nowra. Passengers should listen to station announcements and check indicator boards.

There are major delays on the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Line and the South Coast Line after a woman was hit by a train at Mortdale.
Sydney Trains advises that trains from both directions are not stopping at Mortdale. Passengers who need to get on or off the train at Mortdale are advised to travel to Penshurst or Oatley and catch a bus.
Passengers can also use their train tickets to travel in the affected area.
Trains on both lines may leave from different platforms to the usual ones, so passengers should listen to station announcements and check indicator boards. A shuttle bus service is operating between Sutherland and Cronulla on the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Line.
