MADELINE "Dolly" Cumersky who recently celebrated her 100th birthday was born at Millers Point and attended primary school in Newtown.
In September, 1934 she married Hugh Cumersky. She was widowed in 1979.
The couple had no children but have nephews, Jeff and Harold Thompson.
She had one brother who has predeceased her.
"Dolly" worked as a court typist and in Parliament House.
Her interests have included hockey, tennis, knitting, sewing, piano playing and writing letters.
She has lived at Jenny Lyn Nursing Home, Brighton-Le-Sands, since just before Christmas 2012.
