IT’S not just older fans that are behind the Bulldogs ahead of Sunday’s NRL grand final.
A group of preschoolers have shown their true colours at Bright Stars Preschool, Rockdale, which has been decked out in blue and white.
Over the past week, 20 children, their teachers and parents have been covering nearly every surface in blue and white. There are banners, lanterns, streamers, flags and balloons.
The new decor even got the attention of the wider community, with motorists regularly stopping their cars to take photos.
Bright Stars teacher Amal Abdallah said the idea came from the children.
‘‘Everyone here are such big Bulldogs fans. The kids go to the matches with their families or watch the game at home,’’ she said. ‘‘We thought why not get into the spirit.’’
The children made their own Bulldog-inspired artwork, which takes pride of place in the centre.
And there’s bound to be a huge celebration if the Bulldogs win the premiership.
‘‘I think everyone will go crazy,’’ she said.
