SUTHERLAND head across to Raby Oval today to play Campbelltown Camden in round three of the Sydney first grade premiership.
After winning their opening game against Fairfield Liverpool, Sutherland lost to Bankstown by 140 runs on Saturday at Glenn McGrath Oval.
Bankstown made 7-(dec) 401 and Sutherland were dismissed for 260.
Shane Watson, back in action from injury, looked sharp making 37 opening in the Twenty20 game against St George on Sunday at Coogee Oval.
The club will know in the next 24 hours if the Test batsman plays against Campbelltown.
In second grade Sutherland lost to Bankstown 9-(dec) 326 and were dismissed for 248. Lachlan Maddinson made 51, Adam Whatley, 46, Jonathan Rose, 38, and Tom Doyle, 36, Trent Smith, 34.
In third grade, Sutherland made 3-206 with Joel Burnett reaching 101 not out, Nathan Loder, 54, Ryan Maguire 22. They defeated Bankstown 180. Josh Zywietz, 4-62, Chris Macnamara, 3-20 and Dylan Smith, 2-23, the wicket takers.
Sutherland fourth grade lost on first innings as Bankstown made 7-(dec) 200. Hayden Watson took 3-26, and Alex Watkiss 3-72.
Sutherland made 159 in its first innings with James Arnold 46, Will Fraine 31 and Matthew Burg, 20. Batting a second time they were 6-203 at stumps, Alex Watkiss was 59 not out, Matthew Burg 40 not out, James Arnold 32, Will Fraine 29 and Matt Wright, 28.
Bankstown fifth grade won comfortably scoring 9-(dec) 304 with Jayden Brown taking 3-60, Phil Weatherall, 2-22.
