Sue Ferguson, who was working in the O'Reilly and Daly Chemist at Kogarah on the day a car crashed through the bus stop and into the front of the shop, has thanked customers for their support. during her recovery.
A 4WD crashed into the shop on Railway Parade on Monday, September 15, about 11.30am, demolishing half the shop and killing Kogarah High School student Aneri Patel, 16, who had been waiting for a bus.
The driver, Puipuimaota Galuvao was charged with several driving offences including dangerous driving occasioning death and driving without a licence, and is due back in Kogarah Court in November.
Ms Ferguson, and another man in his 80s were injured.
''To all the valued customers at O'Reilly & Daly Chemist, Kogarah that have been so kind with gifts, flowers, cards, phone calls and well wishes, I would like to thank each and everyone of you,'' she said via a letter to the Leader.
