MANY women dream of recreating their wedding day but one Barden Ridge resident went further.
Ana Pedic chose her 21st wedding anniversary to wear her special dress as she went about her normal day for Frocktober, which raises money for ovarian cancer research.
"I don't know anyone who has died of ovarian cancer but I do know people who've died of cancer," Ms Pedic said.
The mother of four dropped son Rocco, 6, at Holy Family Primary School, Menai, where he gave his mum a wide berth after getting out of the car.
Part of the day included morning tea at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre, Gymea, where she met up with her bridesmaid Julia Zuzo.
Within three days she raised $1000.
"The kindness of strangers never ceases to amaze me," Ms Pedic said.
