A TROUPE of burlesque performers will whip up a feast of fun, flirty entertainment as they bring a new flavour to the stage.
Feast! is a new food-themed show to be performed from 7pm on Saturday, November 1 at the Red Rattler Theatre at Marrickville.
It has been produced by burlesque performers Bonnie Petite and Rebelle Velvetine.
Petite of Miranda has been performing burlesque roles for several years.
"This is the biggest show I have produced and I love putting on shows with a theme," she said.
"It makes you think outside the square and you have to think of a routine that matches, and I think mixing it with food will make it visually quite spectacular."
The show will be split into three sections, for the entree, main course and dessert.
The Black Opal Burlesque girls have arranged delicious treats between courses including red velvet cupcakes, brownies and other naughty treats.
Headline performers Bunni Lambada, Kelly Ann Doll and Diesel Darling are the "icing" on the cake.
Petite comes to burlesque from a background in theatre.
"Burlesque is liberating, it is for all shapes and sizes, all different styles and characters and in the audience you find women and men of all ages and backgrounds who come to see the shows," she said.
Tickets: $25 at door.
