Re the article by "Fight for club re-ignited" (Leader, October 7).
It seems the new boss of Friends of Hurstville RSL is suffering from a severe case of "sour grapes" and is determined to carry out the work of former boss Mikall Chong.
Mr Chong surrendered after club members voted overwhelmingly for the amalgamation with South Hurstville RSL.
It appears Mr Mason will go to any lengths in support of Skye Pacific's plan for redevelopment.
The accusation that the club board engaged in unfair and aggressive tactics to ensure members were unable to vote is discriminatory. Totally false.
I suggest Mr Mason back off and accept the result of the majority vote.
