CRONULLA will resemble days gone by when the retro-themed Beach Fest Cronulla is held this Saturday and Sunday.
Cronulla CBD will join the party with a 1950s and 1960s rock'n'roll-themed plaza complete with an Elvis impersonator, and other acts and stalls.
At Dunningham Park, there will be a 1970s and 1980s retro theme with stalls, food and wine and performances from bands playing classic Australian rock, including the INXS Original Sin show on Saturday night, leading up to a fireworks display at 9pm.
There will classic cars on show, rides and fashion parades by creators including Beyond the Sea Swimwear (Sunday).
The festival coincides with Tradies Surfmasters event at Cronulla beach over both days.
Beach Fest director Jeff Killick said the festival, which was now in its fifith year, kept getting bigger and better.
"There are 30 stalls of which 10 will be food and wine from boutique wineries and breweries from NSW," he said.
He said the vintage bikini parade displaying swimwear from the era was sure to be a huge hit again.
