SUTHERLAND did plenty of bowling and fielding against Campbelltown Camden Ghosts in the Sydney first grade cricket competition round three clash.
Sutherland lost on first innings, making only 177 in their first innings. Mitch Brown top scored with 47 and Jack Leaning made 44.
Campbelltown Camden plundered their bowling at Raby Oval, scoring 8(dec)-405.
Brown has made 200 runs this season in first grade and has been one of the team's best in the top order.
Incredibly, the Ghosts scored those runs from only 66 overs at a rocket speed.
Sutherland was 0-33 at stumps on the final day and the Ghosts got the six first-innings points.
Skipper Nathan Fitzgerald was one of six bowlers used by Sutherland as the Ghosts had their measure.
Fitzgerald said the focus now turned to the opening day on today, Saturday against Sydney at Glenn McGrath Oval.

Lower grades
In second grade, Campbelltown Camden 9 (dec)-359 defeated Sutherland 177. Peter Saroukos made 45, Shayen Smith 36, Lachlan Maddinson 31, Adam Whatley 22, and James Bills 20.
In third grade, Sutherland reached 5-230 with Joel Burnett scoring 111, Ben Dwarshuis, 68 not out and Dylan Smith 32 not out, and they defeated Campbelltown Camden 224. Kurt Brown took 3-6, Dylan Smith 3-37, Josh Horner 2-18, and Josh Zywietz 2-36.
Sutherland fourth grade made 258 with Alex Watkiss scoring 84, Matt Wright 45, Sibghat Khan 30, and Scott Dawes 27 and they drew with with Campbelltown Camden 7-202. Alex Clegg took 3-9 and Hayden Watson 2-56).
Sutherland fifth grade lost, scoring 187 to Campbelltown-Camden's 300. Callum Weatherall made 36, Angus Fallins 35, Sean Thornton 20). Best with the ball for Sutherland was Angus Fallins 4-32 and Steve Kourouche 2-34.
