UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos dropped in on Cronulla Sharks training at Toyota Stadium this morning.
The imposing figure laughed, passed a football and spoke with most of the playing group who also took time to wear the championship belt and pose for photos.
At one stage he took prop Ben Ross to the ground in a mock rumble with the Cronulla veteran.
Dos Santos was taken aback by the size of the NRL stars commenting to Sharks forward Andrew Fifita ‘‘you’re a big one’’.
In team news, Jeremy Smith was running at near full pace in an intense fitness test as he steps up in his bid return from a knee injury in Cronulla’s match against Canberra at Toyota Stadium on Sunday.
