AN Illawong man, 40, was expected to appear before Sutherland Court last Friday after allegedly punching three police officers in the face at Sutherland Railway station, police said.
It is alleged the man became aggressive when police from the Transport Command stopped him to talk about his offensive behavior on Thursday about 3.25pm. Police used capsicum spray and batons to subdue the man before arresting him and taking him to Sutherland police station.
He was charged with 14 offences including four counts of assaulting a police officer and destroying property.
