Residents may find it hard to catch a glimpse of Hugh Jackman on location for his latest Wolverine flick at Bonna Point Reserve, Kurnell, because the production company 20th Century Fox has set a barrier far back around the perimeter of the set.
Shooting for the second Wolverine film kicked off in Sydney on Monday, with the star tweeting: ‘‘We’re on day 1 of shooting.. wolverine is back.. feel so pumped about this one.... never felt so ready!!!!! will keep y’all posted!!!’’
Jackman, 43, is expected to shoot scenes at Kurnell this week. The production company put a sign on the fence to confirm that filming would take place for two days between Monday, July 30 until Thursday, August 2.
Bonna Point Reserve has been transformed into a temporary World War II Prisoner of War camp for the film.
A Sutherland Shire Council spokeswoman said Bonna Point boat ramp was scheduled to re-open in August when filming was complete.
