ST JOSEPH'S Riverwood boys and Peakhurst girls are through to the Sydney East regional final of the MILO T20 Blast Schools Cup after winning their respective divisions at the Georges River zone carnival at Gannon's Park on July 23.
Peakhurst South Public School, Peakhurst West Public School, St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Riverwood, Peakhurst Public School, Lugarno Public School and Hurstville Public School played in the modified cricket matches, with the top two teams qualifying in the years 5 and 6 competition.
In the boys division St Joseph's Riverwood beat Peakhurst in the final.
The Peakhurst girls managed to go one better, beating Peakhurst South by a run to win their section of the tournament.
The winners move through to the Sydney East regional final at Carss Bush Park on August 28.
Winners in that part of the tournament go to a gala day of all regional winners.
