Why is St George and Sutherland Shire the best place in the world to live?
It's good to work here because of the hospital, offices and shopping. It's a good area.
How has the region changed in your lifetime?
It's gone upscale a little bit in a business sense and with hospital improvements.
What would you like to see more of?
I'd like to see more people come and visit the area.
Do you have a favourite spot you like to visit or a favourite local restaurant, cafe or shop?
St George Leagues Club, because I'm a Dragons fan.
What do you enjoy reading the most in your Leader?
I like to look at sport, and just seeing what's happening in the area.
Has any particular story you have read stuck in your memory?
I remember the fuss when the statue of Bruce Lee was put in. It was right in front of my shop.
What are you looking forward to this year?
I'd like to have a bit of spare time to go on a holiday.
What is one thing you wish you were better at?
Taking time off.
What is the best part of your role?
I like to see all my customers, just talking to them and making them happy.
If you could travel, where would you go?
I'd like to go to Italy - to Calabria and Sicily - to see my family.
