FEELING like something sweet? How does three different types of scones with cream sound? Or perhaps a caramel ganache tart is more to your taste. The good news is they are both on the new high tea menu at Caringbah Tradies.
The three-tier plate also includes lemon curd tarts, chocolate ganache tarts and chocolate-coated strawberries.
One level of the plate is crustless sandwiches including brie and spinach and chicken avocado, and another level has spinach filo pastries, mini-quiches and vegetarian spring rolls.
The high tea is $19.90 a person and includes tea or coffee. It’s an extra $4 a person for a glass of bubbles.
Customers need to book a day in advance, says chef Paul Nicholson and there is a minimum of two people.
Mr Nicholson said vegetarian options were available, and gluten-free options could be arranged as long as advanced notice was given.
High tea is served Monday to Thursday, 2pm to 5pm.
