Leaving aside the fact that Anthony Pears spent an idyllic Saturday cruising the Georges River, the sight of dolphins at close range is simply stunning - needless to say we're more than happy to publish the photos he sent in.
We'll let Anthony take up the story from here:
"Not sure if you are interested but got some more dolphins pictures on Saturday.
We were on our way across to St George motor boat club and the dolphins were swimming towards Tom Uglys bridge. The pod would have had about 7 dolphins, including a calf.
After about 30 mins of floating around and following them, we left to go to the St George motor boat club to fill up with fuel.
After this we decided to cruise down to Como. On the way down the Dolphins were playing the southern side of the Georges river, between the Sylvania Marina and Kangaroo Point. On a couple of occasions we saw one of the adult Dolphins chasing fish."
Thanks Anthony.
