I have been a local all my life and intend to be for the rest of it. The sandhills are a much-loved place for many, either running on them, kids playing on them, fashion shoots and Biggest Loser contestants.
I have watched them disappear over the years and hate what is going on around the last sandhill. Thank you for keeping that one Sutherland Shire Council.
I run the sandhills a few times a week and thoroughly enjoy being out there at 7am on Sundays.
What I am not loving is the drink bottles and garbage left out there by other runners or people who visit the site. Is it that bloody hard to take your drink bottle home with you, or drink before you go and don't take a bottle? People who visit the sandhills should take their rubbish home or don't go out there
