A TRADITIONAL canoe was launched off Captain Cook's Landing Place as part of the recent World Parks Congress delegates conference visit to Kamay National Park, Kurnell.
International delegates witnessed a smoking ceremony and welcome to country.
The traditional stringybark canoe was made by the Office of Environment and Heritage's Aboriginal community relations officer Dean Kelly and the National Maritime Museum.
