South Side Derby Dolls will host their final game of 2014 this Saturday, November 22, against Blue Mountains Roller Derby League at Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre.
The showdown between the Dolls newest representative team The Empire and the Mountains team Free Sisters will be the main drawcard.
Spectators can expect a full-contact, fast-paced 60-minute roller bout.
The Empire recently competed in a NSW/ACT-wide competition known as the Eastern Region Roller Derby Tournament.
‘‘In our last game against Blue Mountains, they beat us by just seven points, so the team is keen to settle the score,’’ said The Empire's co-captain Denominator.
It will also feature the first ever demonstration of junior roller derby skaters in southern Sydney, music, commentary and raffles.
Doors open at 5.30pm; general admission tickets, $10; free entry for children under 12.
