Update 10:35am: Four people have been charged after a police operation yesterday (November 26) at Beverly Hills.
Police shut down sections of Penshurst Street as part of an investigating into seven armed robberies and a shooting earlier this year.
Detectives also are investigating two other incidents that may be connected to the armed robberies and shooting.
These include an alleged carjacking on October 7 and a kidnapping on November 10.
In the carjacking incident, police said a man had stopped his car in Kingsgrove Road, Kingsgrove, at 11.15pm to use an ATM.
Two people threatened him with a Taser, took his money and fled in his car.
In the kidnapping incident, police said a man forced his way into a Kingsgrove Road home at Belmore and threatened a man with a knife.
The victim was forced outside and into a car with two other people.
The group took the man to an ATM and demanded money.
He was released later and the group left empty-handed.
During a search at Beverly Hills yesterday, police found items connected to the carjacking and kidnapping incidents.
The items are being examined by forensic experts.
Police searched a Kingsgrove home at 12.45pm yesterday and found clothing, weapons, ammunition and stolen property believed to be connected to the armed robberies.
A vehicle stolen during a previous incident was found outside the property.
That vehicle and other property seized are being examined.
A man, 23, has been charged with using an offensive weapon in company with intent to commit an indictable offence, stalking and intimidating with an intended fear of physical harm, entering enclosed land, two counts of robbery in company while armed with offensive weapon, disposing property, firing at dwelling house or building, failing to pay for fuel, police pursuit and not stopping (Skye’s Law), taking conveyance without consent of owner, aggravated kidnapping (detain person for advantage) and breaking and entering, and committing a serious indictable offence.
He has been refused bail to appear in Kogarah Court today (November 27).
Three women — aged 17, 19 and 41 — were charged with aggravated kidnapping (detaining a person for advantage), and breaking and entering, and committing a serious indictable offence.

Updated 3:25pm: A Kingsgrove mother, 41, her two daughters, 17 and 19, and one of their boyfriends, 23, were arrested at Beverly Hills this morning over seven armed robberies and a shooting earlier this year.
Strike Force Culch was established to investigate a series of armed robberies including a Mortdale hotel on June 2, a Fairfield hotel on June 4, a South Hurstville tavern on June 27, a Sydney CBD hotel on July 26, a Rockdale sports club on July 31, a Fairfield hotel on August 15 and a Bexley hotel on August 26.
Police said the incidents involved two or three offenders who entered the premises armed with a weapon.
The offenders wore dark clothing and had their faces covered during the robberies and fled in a vehicle.
Police are still looking for other people believed to be involved in the robberies.
Police are also investigating links after shots were fired at the Cheeky Chooks Lebanese Charcoal Chicken on Kingsgrove Road at Kingsgrove on August 28.
At the time investigators were told by witnesses the shots were fired by a man from a passing car. No one was injured.
A grey 2008 Audi station wagon was found with partial fire damage in a nearby street.
Police will allege the same vehicle was also used during the series of armed robberies.
Detectives are also investigating two other incidents that may be connected to the armed robberies and shooting.
These include an alleged carjacking on October 7 and a kidnapping on November 10.
Police allege the man, 23, kidnapped a man known to him, and forced him to withdraw cash from an ATM.
The four people were taken to Kogarah police station and charges are expected to be laid.
