Sutherland reached 8-315 at stumps with Ben Dwarshuis top-scoring with 79, and wicketkeeper Daniel Rixon not out on 50. Daniel Fallins, unbeaten on 32. Jamie Brown made 48. Opener Chris Williams was solid making 39.
