First to raise the issue: Ian Leach complaining in 2011 that Hurstville Council had let the public toilet in Barratt Street, Hurstville go to ruin, leaving bus travellers without a nearby toilet.
New loo is the go
Today, Thursday, November 20, I had the pleasure of using the new toilet facility at the Hurstville bus interchange.
I was pleasantly surprised to find how easy it is to operate the door lock, flush the cistern, use the washing facilities — and the general cleanliness throughout.
However without my brother Ian's taking the initiative and the Leader for highlighting his concern, I'm sure there would not have been a toilet there.
In recognition of his suggestion and perseverance, it would be admirable to name it, "The Ian Leach Toilet Block".
