DICK Caine has had his fair share of top athletes training at his gym and pool complex at Carss Park over the years.
All Blacks centre Sonny Bill Williams has now joined the list.
In 2009 Williams tried his hand at boxing.
Over the past five years he has fought in six professional fights, winning each heavyweight bout.
Williams hopes to get back in the boxing ring next month and has been spending his rugby off-season training under the guidance of former Australian heavyweight fighter Tony Mundine at Dick Caine's gym.
Being the high profile and international sporting star that he is, Williams has drawn quite a lot of attention from the local schools who attend Dick Caine's pool as part of the Learn to Swim program.
Mr Caine said Williams is a man who promotes the good things about league and rugby.
"He's a good bloke."
"Sonny is always going out of his way to spend time with the kids after his training," Mr Caine said.
