THE annual social and come- and-try day was a roaring success held last Saturday on Botany Bay by the NSW Personal Watercraft Association.
Many families took to the water at the event riding jet-skis, which made a big splash.
The NSWPWA also held its Christmas party for the children on Saturday.
The NSWPWA is the state affiliate of the Australian Jet Sports Boating Association (AJSBA), which is the national body for the sport.
NSWPWA secretary Tessa Phipps said they were a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers who gave up their time to expand the sport and its reputation.
The next racing at St George Sailing Club is on Sunday, February 8.
