THERE are more fashionistas going online in Sutherland Shire than anywhere else in Sydney to find out where they can have their clothes altered or repaired, a new survey has found.
And online fish and seafood lovers hone in on Kogarah, according to the Yellow Pages' City Snapshot.
The shire has a more than 50 per cent higher average than statewide for clothing alterations, the survey has found.
Searches have increased fourfold in Kogarah for fish and seafood compared with the NSW average.
Yellow Pages Digital's general manager Evan Ravensdale said that the search data provided fascinating insights into what locals were really looking for online.
"With Miranda's reputation for shopping, and the relaxed but fashionable vibe of Cronulla, it stands to reason that people across Sydney would be looking to get their clothes tailored and repaired in the area," Mr Ravensdale said.
"Sydneysiders are also looking for the delights of the bay, with searches for fish and seafood more than four times higher in Kogarah than the state-wide average."
He said that anyone locking themselves out in Hurstville were in luck - the area had attracted 70 per cent more searches for locks and locksmiths than the statewide average.
