Ukulele delights
It was good to see the Leader promoting a community ukulele music event in the What's On section (November 13).
Our Ukulele group, The Shire-leles, play upbeat '60s, '70s and '80s music at the Kareela Golf Club's free open mic night every second Thursday night starting at 7.30pm.
Along with many other shire musicians who play on these nights we wouldn't have the opportunity to enjoy our music if it wasn't for the generosity of the Kareela Golf Club's management.
