St George Cricket Club’s fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has taken his third wicket on debut — on the second day of the Brisbane Test match.
Hazlewood had top order Indian batsman Ajinkya Rahane caught behind by wicketkeeper Brad Haddin for 81.
The right-arm speedster suffered from leg cramps and exhaustion on the opening day at the Gabba as the searing heat baked the players.
But the St George and NSW paceman has bounced back today, fresh and rejuvenated after a good night’s rest to take his third Test scalp.
