CRONULLA Beach has received a ‘‘highly commended’’ for the overall NSW Clean Beach Award for the most well-managed beach in NSW.
The Clean Beaches Awards is an initiative of Keep NSW Beautiful to recognise the work done to protect beaches.
The presentation of this award acknowledged the balancing act by Sutherland Shire Council between supporting biodiversity and providing amenities for beachgoers.
