If I could I ask Mr Baird one simple question about the privatisation of our poles and wires it would be this: how does he plan to recoup the $1.7 billion per year?
This money funds schools, hospitals and roads that will be lost once sold. Higher taxes perhaps?
It doesn’t make sense.
