"I want to play at Hurstville Oval one day and for St George," Sam said.
He also watches a lot of cricket on television.
Twenty20, one dayers and Tests, his eyes are glued to the screen absorbing and watching the top players and learning as much as he can.
His parents, Pamela and Jim, said their son is passionate and loves his cricket.
The young batsman and leg spin bowler has taken all before him playing for the Georges River St George District Cricket Association's Foster Shield under-10 representative team.
In six matches this season he leads the batting averages with 74.50 scoring 298 runs.
Sam's best scores are 116, 85 not out and 82 not out. He also collected five wickets.

The right-arm leg spinner has taken 12 wickets.
Sam said Steve Smith, the stand-in Australian Test skipper, is his favourite player.
Sam's coach, Foster Shield coach Rick Orr, said Sam is a talented player with the right attitude.
"He has shots all around the ground," Orr said.
"Sam was a good cricketer with a natural ability in all aspects of the game — batting, bowling and fielding.
"He has all the skills of a cricketer much older than his years would suggest.
"Sam was given a leadership role within the team as vice-captain and excelled.
"Sam has another year to go in the Foster Shield, his third, a feat achieved by few cricketers and from there the only limits on him will be self-imposed."
