EXCEPTIONAL talent will be on show at the free annual exhibition of HSC art.
ARTEXPRESS celebrates the outstanding achievements of 2014 high school graduates who chose visual arts as an elective subject.
A handful of students who excelled were selected for the exhibition at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre, Gymea.
It's one of the most popular venues in Sydney to view the works across a range of media forms.
With fresh ideas and technical skills to match, 50 artists from Sutherland Shire and NSW explored themes including social, cultural and spiritual significance, or aspects of identity and environment.
ARTEXPRESS opens February 7 and ends March 22.
Students will discuss the inspiration behind their artworks at 6.30pm on February 18; bookings: 8536 5731.
Art educator and author of Excel Revise HSC in a Month, Craig Malyon, will give a talk on how to develop a body of work for ARTEXPRESS at 10am and 12.30pm on February 23. Cost is $7 for all sessions; bookings: 8536 5745.
