LIBERAL candidates have been given a "fail" mark after responding to a survey on service cuts to five of St George's busiest rail stations.
Two Greens and one Labor candidate were awarded top marks in the survey held by community group Restore Our Rail.
All declared candidates in the region were asked to answer questions about "vicious" timetable changes that affected travellers from Kogarah, Rockdale, Mortdale, Beverly Hills and Kingsgrove railway stations.
Restore Our Rail spokeswoman Tazeen Ali said all but the Liberal candidates had answered each question.
Liberals Mark Coure (Oatley) and John Flowers (Rockdale) had responded with letters, while there had been "silence" from the party's Kogarah candidate Nick Aroney.
"This is disappointing, particularly in light of all Liberal councillors in Hurstville Council joining forces in a unanimous denunciation of the service reductions," she said.
The website gave two ticks to Greens candidates Brent Heber (Kogarah) and Philippa Clark (Oatley), and Chris Minns (Labor Kogarah).
Labor candidates O'Bray Smith (Oatley) and Steve Kamper (Rockdale) received one tick each while the three Liberals were awarded a cross.
"Restore Our Rail cannot endorse any Liberal candidate at this stage," Ms Tazeen said.
She said that as new candidates appeared or existing candidates changed or refined their position, the web page would be updated.

O’Bray Smith: ‘‘I will be involved in the development of a new timetable, I will continue to liaise with [Labor transport spokeswoman] Penny Sharpe and negotiate a return of services to Mortdale, Penshurst and Beverly Hills.”
Mark Coure: ‘‘The new timetable introduced 149 extra weekly services on the Illawarra line and 6000 extra daily morning peak seats. Services to the city in the morning peak are significantly faster. I monitor patronage and listen to community feedback; I am constantly discussing these issues with the minister .
