Man suffers serious facial injuries at Rockdale

The male driver, 35, and a passenger were in Chapel Street at 9.15pm when a man struck the car.

The pair got out of the car to inspect the damage.

One of three men, with a large torch, hit the driver in the face.

The three men fled.

The driver, with serious facial injuries, was taken in a stable condition to St George Hospital.

St George detectives would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
