Kogarah citizens of the year, Hurstville Grove couple Graham Fry and Elizabeth Cameron, have a long history of volunteering and a strong commitment to the environment.
Mr Fry has worked with the council as a volunteer ranger in Poulton Park and both he and Ms Cameron have been members of the Poulton Park Bush Care volunteer group since 1997.
Their environmental initiatives have included National Tree Day, Keep Australia Beautiful, Australian Sustainable Cities Awards 2011.
Ms Cameron is the secretary of Oatley Flora and Fauna Conservation Society.
