Speeding motorist did not stop for police at Lucas Heights
A Greystanes motorist, 77, received an infringement notice yesterday after he failed to stop for police at Lucas Heights.
Sutherland police were checking speeds at 8am in Heathcote Road when they saw him travelling above the 70km/h speed limit.
Police said they activated their lights and siren on an unmarked vehicle but the driver did not stop.
Police followed the car and stopped him at Sandy Point.
He received the infringement notice for failure to comply with police directions and exceeding speed.
