LAST year was an exciting and busy time for Chapel Lane Performance Studio.
Principal Simone Gage said Chapel Lane students have had huge success in the professional world, from TV commercials and the Australian Ballet to musicals such as Mary Poppins and The Addams Family.
"Students are trained in all areas of the performing arts and widely recognised as triple-treat performers," she said.
"Chapel Lane is unique in that we provide professional performance opportunities for our talented students.
"We have performed across Australia and overseas at a variety of world-class venues."
Ms Gage said Chapel Lane was asked to open the 2014 Parramasala Media Launch with Premier Mike Baird.
In 2014, student Kate Lienert enjoyed the opportunity of a lifetime when she performed at the Sydney Opera House for the recent visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
"Prince William personally interviewed Kate and this was televised nationally," Ms Gage said.
Their end-of-year production Gotta Sing Gotta Dance was held at Souths Juniors and Ms Gage said it was such a success that it was rated as being the best studio production held at Souths in six years.
"Whilst many students attend Chapel Lane to train seriously and join our performance team, we also offer fun recreational classes for kids of all ages.
"Hip-hop is possibly the most popular class, with boys outnumbering the girls.
"We have so many exciting projects ahead for 2015."
