TAKE a trip down memory lane next month with the arrival of Cavalcade — the history of fashion at Peakhurst.
Gardens on Forest will host the exhibition of original clothing from about 1910.
The "house party" collection will include classic dresses and accessories worn by Edwardian women as they ventured into the country for a week.
Ladies in white gloves will be handling the delicate pieces, which have been donated from people who have had items handed down through their families.
From intricate lacework to parasols, this is the real Downton Abbey.
The event is raising money for emergency services of Australian Red Cross to assist people affected by bushfires, floods and other natural disasters.
Details: 764 Forest Road, Peakhurst, Sunday 2pm, February 22; adults $30, students $15. Bookings by February 16: Meg 9533 1020 or megsy1851@bigpond.com
