Free admission for kids to two museums if Libs win election
Children under 16 have been promised free admission to major museums if the Coalition wins the NSW election on March 28.
Premier Mike Baird said the general admission fee to the Australian Museum and the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (Powerhouse Museum) would be removed.
“This commitment brings these two museums in line with other leading arts and cultural institutions across NSW and the world,’’ he said.
Mr Baird said families would save $4 to $8 per child.
Exhibitions and special events will still be ticketed.
Will this move make you more likely to visit these museums?
