A teenager has been charged with stabbing a man at a Beverly Hills bus stop early Sunday morning.
Police said two men and two women were sitting at the bus stop on Edgbaston Road about 3.15am when the 18-year-old accused one of the men, 23, of whistling at him.
Police allege he pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the right shoulder.
Police on patrol nearby arrested him and charged him at Kogarah police station with assault occasioning actual bodily harm; assault occasioning actual bodily harm in the company of others; and using an offensive weapon with the intent to commit an indictable offence.
He was refused bail to appear in Sutherland Court on Monday.
The injured man is in a stable condition in St George Hospital.
