This month will see a double celebration for Michele Mattiuzzi.
The Sutherland Shire actor turned 30 last week and will appear in the second episode of the two-part *House of Hancock TV mini-series.
The episode featuring Mattiuzzi will air Sunday night on Channel 9.
The series tells the story of mega-rich mining giant Lang Hancock, his tempestuous relationship with his daughter Gina Rinehart and his love affair and marriage to Filipina Rose, played by Peta Sergeant.
"I play the part of Bob Thomson, Gina's bodyguard and the nanny to Gina's children," Mattiuzzi said.
The actor hinted there could be more to his character's relationship with Gina, but did not want to give too much away.
He said he enjoyed filming his scenes between Cronulla and Miranda — at a park overlooking the water.
"It took about two to three weeks, a couple of days here and there. It was just a few streets from my house," he said.
*Gina Rinehart wins bid to view House of Hancock after taking action against Channel Nine
Gina Rinehart has won a court bid to view episode two of Channel Nine's mini-series House of Hancock and may seek an injunction at the weekend to prevent it going to air on Sunday night.
The mining magnate brought the urgent legal action against Nine Entertainment Co. in the NSW Supreme Court on Friday, to get access to the TV episode.
Mrs Rinehart's barrister, Tom Blackburn, SC, asked the court to grant an application for urgent preliminary discovery against Nine.
